Last year, on the 18th of November, the first instalment of the 'Fantastic Beasts' franchise was released; 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. If you have watched the movie, good on you, it was incredible; however, there are details about the characters that may have escaped unnoticed. Below are details on the main characters in FBAWTF.

N E W T S C A M A N D E R

Full name: Newton Artemis Fido Scamander

Other names: Newt, Mr Scamander

Born: Sometime in 1897, England

Wand: Lime, shell and bone wood, mother of pearl base, unknown core.

Blood Status: Pure-Blood or Half-Blood Wizard

Education: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

House: Hufflepuff

Interests: Magical Creatures

Works: Used to work in the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, before changing to the Office of House-Elf Relocation, which he found boring. He was then commissioned to write 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', which allowed him to travel the world searching for magical creatures to study.

Accolades: Order of Merlin, 2nd Class for his worldwide success on his book, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.

History: Mother bred fancy hippogriffs, he worked with Ukrainian Iron-Belly Dragons on the eastern front in World War 1.

Works: She lost her job as an Auror, so she worked in the wand permit office, before Newt Scamander convinced President of MACUSA to give her job back to her.

History: Mother and Father died of dragon pox pushing her and Queenie to raise each other, her grandfather bred owls.
